NUFC Transfer Rumours

We should be doing everything possible to sign Kolo Muani, as he'd give us similar attributes to what 14 provided upfront.

He is essentially has all the similar quality play in build up that Jackson has, but is a much better and more reliable finisher already.

Isn't he more a winger though?

Off to Spurs supposedly.

I know I’m a pure broken record but spending £60m + on any of them 3 - JSL, Jackson or Wissa - and we’ve pissed up the Isak profit before it’s even hit our account.

Don’t do it NUFC, you’ve fucked up this summer but try not to fuck up one more time.

They’ve not got a choice. We’ve already pissed points away by not having a striker. Beyond the finances of finishing mid-table, watch who all leaves next summer without Europe to come.

Looking forward to us massively overpaying after we’ve just sold massively under value. Well done lads

I don't think it's fair to blame the club. These things happen in football. It looks like the agent set things up so that Isak was no longer any use to us, and there was only one club who was in a position to buy him. We couldn't generate an auction, so £125m is about what we can expect. I'd say he's worth £150m, but hey ho.

If we get another striker in today, (and it doesn't need to be a Lewandowski), this will be a good window. I really rate Woltemade.

We'll lose far more if we go into the season without a striker who will get 20+ over all comps.

Yep. A 8-10 place drop in the PL is £25m-£30m in lost revenue. Some will laugh but we saw both Man Utd and Spurs do it last season.

Whoever we sign will be amortized over five years while the Isak “profit” hits all at once. Obviously that wouldn’t matter if we are dealing with real money, but we have functionally infinite funds that are only being constrained by arbitrary lines on a spreadsheet, so it does.

Oh aye, I understand it doesn’t work like the good old days, I was just talking in literal terms.
