NUFC Transfer Rumours

Yeah Osula 100% need to be kept given the Wissa situation, we will have so many games if we stay deep in competitions that they will share plenty game time. Also gives us the option of completely resting a Wolt/Wissa if we are 2/3 up in a game.

This. Woltemade has done brilliantly, but Osula offers the pace in behind option which Wissa would have brought. It turned out a blessing in disguise that Frankfurt tried to move the goalposts and scuppered the deal.

I'll be honest I think it's way too early to assess, he's already done quite well in the games since so who knows what he'll look like in say December.

Is that what happened? I thought we got nervous about getting Wissa done.

Craig Hope (I know..) said Frankfurt got cold feet after seeing the reaction of our fans pissing themselves that we were getting €30m for him on Twitter.

Hope reported we'd agreed a £30 million fee and a buy back option, but they later proposed a £6 million loan with an option to buy, so we pulled out.

Like that’s how transfers are done

He said it at that talk in he did just after the window shut apparently.

Pretty sure Romano (paraphrasing here) said something about how social media is having a growing influence on transfer decisions too. Don't know exactly what he said as I've got no time of day for Bolognese Bummer and given he's also in the pocket of half the major clubs in Europe. The cunt.

He would say that, but who knows.

Internationals are difficult for the journos. Lets give Ryder a click out of empathy. He tried really hard with this one.

Best thing in the world with them adding the "accept tracking cookies or pay" policy - haven't been anywhere near their aids ridden website since ;D

Transfer wishlist / thoughts for next summer. Early days I know but I'm bored as fuck

Akliouche

Anderson

Acheampong

LB/RB?

GK?

I'd be open to selling Barnes for someone who gives us a different dynamic. Akliouche looks quality. Thinking Elanga can cover both sides.

Wolte, Wissa, Akliouche, Gordon, Elanga and Murphy - front 6

Anderson, think we'd all like him back if possible. For me it depends on what happens with Miley, and if it would be worth selling Joelinton who'd be 30, depending on how much he'd fetch. If we haven't give Miley the minutes this season / he doesn't excel, consider a loan and keep Joelinton. If he does excel this season, consider moving on Joelinton

Bruno, Tonali, Anderson, Ramsey, Miley/Joelinton - midfield 5

Acheampong - Looks unreal and only 19, tall, fast, good with the ball for a CB, loosely linked in the summer. Burn and Schar both 33, and Schar only 1 year left... Hopefully Chelsea want some Academy FFP profit

Full back and GK - nee idea!

Good list and I like Akliouche, just not sure he’s an Eddie Howe player.

We definitely need another wide attacking player. I’m hoping we go for Antonio Nusa, or Dario Osorio, think both would fit the profile of a Howe player, young exciting wingers but offer something different to what we’ve got.

I agree that he's not the type of player we usually go for, I just think having Wolte now, something different on the wings would help.

Isak used to run in behind all the time, Wolte won't be doing this, but will drop deep and be able to play in our wingers. Gordon/Elanga isnt prolific enough to make the most of that imo (early days..). Said it before but we need our version of Mane and Salah to pair with Wolte
