They will try and get a deal in January and if not then i think Liverpool will move on. Normally Liverpool only go for people they have seen as an upgrade on what they have and wait to get them. I’d not want Guehi here now, his wage demands would cause shit with the existing guys. Good player but so is Thiaw.. I’d struggle to think of anything Guehi can do that he can’t? Eddie will probably play 3 at the back at times this season to so I'm sure there will be plenty of game time for him. Just gutted Tino and Hall are injured if not our defensive is super stacked. This is where our academy being largely shit for as long as I can remember really holds us back. Has it really produced consistent quality since the days of Clark, Howey, Watson, Thompson, etc... If so, who do we replace him with? How about Zirkzee on loan with an option to buy? He wants more minutes to try and get into the Dutch WC team and he'd get them here if Wissa’s return keeps getting pushed back. Or Madrid's Endrick?
