Kaka needs to stop talking like a pastor, its tiresome. We get it, you're the most knowledgeable poster in this forum and if only we could have your intelligence, the world would be a better place.

Yes, of course he's been shite for 2 years. Some of you are truly pitiful.

He had a long spell where he was poor, we cant deny that. Im a Gordon fan, so not hounding him anywhere. But just like Elanga and Ramsey we need Gordon to produce more in attack. He has been better lately.

He's been up and down, but has still contributed a lot and has been a big part of lots of important results. He has not been "shite for 2 years".

I think it is fair to say he has been extremely inconsistent and often not at the level needed. His last open play goal in the league was a year ago today. You can come up with a million reasons why, but that is not ok.

Dont have the exact lenght but in this poor spell he didnt score in the league for many months. Thats nowhere near good enough. The critique against him is very much justified. Two years is wrong though..

I think it's long gone far beyond just criticism, and that's very clear.

I'm just not sure what kind of environment you expect these players to perform their best in, but I know it's not the current one that is building around certain players in particular, and probably the manager and club in general.

Listen, I hope we do sell him. It would be fascinating to see how it all plays out if nothing else.

But fans on the internet aren't the club. Are you saying if fans online were different we could avoid Arsenal or Liverpool wanting to buy one of our players?

I don't get it.

I'm sure everything is fine. The carry on online and the stadium is all fine. I'm sure that has no effect on whether players are swayed either way.

Man City have had best recruitment policy for last 15+ years. Part of that is buying well in January.

Never understand why we, or even all clubs are so reactive in the window.

Fairs does Johnson into Palace early. Semenyo into City is classic City.

As a club, we need to cut the rumours and likes of Craig Hope jabbering on for weeks right out - and act quickly and just get it done. City last January signed 4/5 players - just got it done. Not asking Newcastle to sign that level of player - just try and operate on that level. Be clinical and get it done.

My prediction - we don't sign a soul. Osula out on loan.

Because when you have no PSR issues, a great established academy, highest wage structure, large multi club model already setup and best manager in the league regularly winning trophies  and usually in all four completions come January you tend to find most things aren’t an issue when it comes to signing players in the January window [emoji38]

I didn’t even realise Gordon was getting much grief.

Wouldn’t even say he is. Think a lot of fans dont rate him as highly as he rates himself but I think a lot still value him hugely. For me personally I’d never slay the lad off at the match and I think he does generally try hard when attacking, not always defensively but I just don’t rate him that highly

Exactly this. We're both monsters.
