Don’t think there’s anything poor about him tbh, he’s arguably been Spurs best player this season, which is quite an achievement for a teenager (it’s his 20th birthday today apparently). Whether it would be a wise use of resources given the more pressing needs in other areas, is a valid concern like, but if he ever did end up here, I reckon Eddie would have him in an England squad within two seasons. Would be good to see more £20-£30m players from abroad that carry far less risk with much higher reward. I do think we will be stung by last summer though (thankfully). Hopefully Suds & Wilson can get some gems that can improve the squad for little outlay, and leave the big bucks to target 2 or 3 areas (keeper and striker for sure). Do NOT sign Dominic Solanke. I’m not sure he is behind Miley tbh. He looks very, very good from what I’ve seen. Obviously, you wouldn’t go spending significant money for him to come a take Miley’s spot like. Meant to be in for 6-8 players in the summer depending on outgoings It does seem like we will be going for a bit more talent from abroad with recent links to younger foreign players from Europe over the last few weeks. Really need to improve our quality in squad depth for if we somehow qualify for Europe or for when we next do so we are more ready.
