The Leverkusen keeper looked brilliant.

Yesterday was a standout performance, before that he has (just) been solid and originally was beging Flekken. He was also no. 2 at Leipzig before and could hardly get past Gulasci. Maybe he is a late bloomer.

@Curva Sud Milano why isn't Carnesecchi linked with moves to bigger clubs? Always looked incredible when I've seen him.

I agree, he's a very underrated GK but he's excellent... he and Caprile are much, much better than Vicario for example.

The real scandal, however, is that no one abroad has noticed Roma goalkeeper Svilar, especially because when you watch PSG-Chelsea you realize they have two clowns as goalkeepers.

His name has come up here regularly. Nothing in the press though AFAIK so your point stands.

So will Chelsea lucky they got a transfer ban.

They have a really good one at Strasbourg or funnelled somewhere in their loan set up

Massive rebuild in the summer.

Need some new defenders..New contracts for Schar & Trippier are not the answer..We have no recovery pace in defence

I would think about selling Livramento and invest in 2 decent full backs that can cover season.

Need more technical attacking players that don't just run the lines and try to cross or are just dead fast, a centre half, keeper and a centre mid. Most of all we probably need more dynamic/agile players as we are either 2 static/run straight or side to side or arent fluid enough to create new angles in attack. We lose the ball far too much as easy to defend and mark unless we break at pace. Hall. Bruno and Ramsey are probably our most technical players

My limited wishlist based on what I've seen, read and a bit of YouTube scouting.... Hopefully a bit reasonable

Osula out - Mateus Mane in

1 winger out - Iliman Ndiaye in

Willock out - Lamine Camara in

Tino out - Michael Kayode in

Krafth out - Josh Acheampong in

Still leaves us with the following issues

Strikers - Surely we need to sell 1/2 of Wissa/Woltemade before we buy another?

CB's - Chelsea use Acheampong as a hybrid RCB and RB. I'd be happy with him as RB and someone very good like a tino/kayode first choice

But I assume Schar goes so we'd still need another CB, ideally a starting level one so it pushes Thiaw/Botman

CM - This is assuming no one else leaves, which isn't likely it seems

GK - For me we need 2 as not big on Ramsdale with his price /wages, and Pope needs moving on - no idea what's best for us, but would like a very good keeper to come straight away (Kobel?)

Id use Osula to counter a loss on Wissa, but then Saudi is not going to be an option for many players this summer unless things really calm down quickly in Iran.

Front 4 of Gordon, Jackson, Woltemade and Vipotnik gives flexibility, experience and growth potential.

Midfield core of Bruno, Miley, Ramsey. One of the Joes to stay then depends on Tonali as to what we need

Then who the fuck knows with the rest. Barnes, Hall, Tino, Thiaw and Botman your think form part of the first team squad unless they want out but they all need competition plus 2 keepers and the right wing needs work

You’d have thought any goalkeeper that fancies the EPL would look at us favourably. I don’t think there are many spots available as a starting GK in a top 6 challenging team.

From ESPN from this side of the pond:

TRENDING RUMORS

Manchester United are looking to sign two midfielders this summer. Could Bruno Guimarães be one of them?

- Manchester United are in talks to sign Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimarães in what could end up being an €80 million deal, reports Reuters, although interest from Real Madrid threatens to derail talks. ESPN has previously reported that United are focused on adding two midfielders next summer, with Guimarães among potential targets that include Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson and Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton. A source has also told ESPN Brasil that Guimarães has delayed any consideration over his future until after this summer's World Cup. However, according to global news agency Reuters, not a regular reporter of transfer intel, United and Madrid are set for a transfer tug-of-war this summer.
