Surely Fraser would be a free transfer?  We’d just want him off our books.  If Southampton don’t pay a fee, who else is queueing up for him?

Agreed, have him on a free and we’ll save the £3m wages.

Shhh, don't tell them that.

Rumours this morning that Trippier could be moving on.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all to be honest. Fitness issues aside recently his head seems to have been wayward at various points this year too relating to possible ‘off field issues’. Still has a role to offer here for sure but could well be away particularly as we have no European football so less pressure on the players regarding number of games and therefore Tino could play a lot.

Tripps also has had injury problems. If he moves will we replace him? Tino first choice and Krafth behind, or Ashby?

I think Krafth is fine to come in for a few games not if Tino was out for a long time. Again this is another position where it’ll be interesting to see what happens this summer.

Pre crutiate injury Krafu did a great job at covering RB. The last time out not so good. Seems better at RCB but could find his form if called upon at RB.

I absolutely love Tripps but would be quite logical to let him go now while we still can get something for him. He's over the hill, didn't impress this season. Will be emotional though, best RB we've had at the club by miles and miles.

Don’t forget about Murphy. He did well when he played there.

Good shout! Go big on the RW recruit (as big as we need to spend to get a Bruno/Botman type for that role).

Kayode? Sounds Nigerian. Awaiting Kaka to tell us he's unreal.

Very fast, great engine, solid defender and is a threat going forward. He’d be a starter for sure which can only mean they’d be looking at playing Tino at left back?

I think people are forgetting Krafth was out for a long time and it will take the lad a fair bit to get back upto speed. He'd be fine as a back up right back. A good pre season and he'll be ready again.

He's similar to Udogie, in that he's Italian born and raised.

Very highly rated from what I've seen written of him but never really seen much of him actually play myself.

Personally wouldn’t want or trust Krafth to be our back up RB all season. Personally think he is a really poor player.

See personally, while he's not glamorous, think he's been really solid since Howe came in, and has been really malleable and reliable. Certainly don't mind him being a squad player.

Edit: That said, I would prefer it be third choice RB, just a player that can fill gaps as and when we need them.

He’s poor at RB for sure. He can be competent at CB in certain games but like a lot of players, he doesn’t do well with power and pace.. or either which is almost par for course in the Premier League now.

He’s not a saleable asset though and not on huge wages so he’s not really a candidate for moving on for the sake of it. He’s a part to play.

Was wondering about Ashby - how did he do in loan last season, anyone know?

Edit - some people still highly rate him Harrison Ashby Twist

One vague and ultimately bullshit rumour and the club are already forcing Tino out of position 😂
