England's Tino Livramento

Thought he was slightly better than Lewis today.

One thing I’ve probably only fully appreciated is Gordon doesn’t provide the cover as the Joe’s - nowhere near.  Gordon is great at winning it high but he doesn’t always come all the way back like the Joe’s do.

Point is Livra was really left 1v1 with the Arsenal wingers and they got absolutely nothing. Livra just locked them down. Gordon helped but not like the other side.

Obviously Saka is better than Martinelli but Saka did have some joy going on the outside and there was more of a 2-man job on him at all times.  That created space on the other side for Martinelli who didn’t have the ability to take advantage because Livra.

Saka is always going to have some joy against any full back in world football, mind. He's one of the best wingers in the world if not the outright best, and he's in great form even by his standards atm.

Saka can truly go inside or outside, that’s the thing. You can’t just show him the outside and be safe, it’s a hard job.

Aye he’s absolutely world class imo. And Hall was excellent.

I just wanted to point out that Livra had less support and gave his winger absolutely nothing.  Which is why I give him the edge in the MOTM stakes. The commentator gave it to Hall because Saka is better which is absolutely fair too.

City fans want him to replace Kyle Walker, but they don’t think we’d sell.

I could see that to be honest, though it would have to be silly money. But if there's one club that has silly money, it's them.

Hall I would have down as priceless.

Not sure if it was forced by howTino was playing but Martinelli seemed to just want to go for a corner so could get their set piece on while Saka wanted to drive in the box.

He lost rice for there chance at the death. Other than that he was great.

And yesterday Gordon was very good at helping him defend that's why he was shagged.

For 120 million I would let him go.

Yeah, I didn't say, but £125m was what I had in my mind. If they don't fancy that, that's fine as I'd like to keep him.

Thought he deserved a bump today. Was in the wars but his stamina helped create Joelinton's goal and thought he made some good options at right back when we were attacking

If we can sort his final ball out he'll be an even bigger asset

What I love is that I never think he's getting done for pace or strength. I love what Trippier is capable of on the ball but he's nowhere near as reliable defensively.

Tinos forward runs are first class, his engine is unbelievable and as above, if he can fine tune his delivery, he will be unstoppable.

For me, just tell your front men what you are going to do. Let them know if you are going to put near post/back post/cut backs before the match, try and build an understanding. I think with his pace, he needs to drive to the by line and cut the ball back, if possible.

Unbelievable athlete.

Now that right side is functioning well enough to allow him to overlap, I think the delivery will come.

Had a couple of decent crosses today where no one was there to attack them. I'm sure we'll see further improvement.

Back to his self where he was bombing forward from RB. What Howe said / changed at HT, saw us use him more with his forward runs and overlap on top of other stuff from the team.
