I think it's almost certain he will want to join Man City and will do in the summer. It is all about the fee we get for him now, we paid 30 million for him and with how he has progressed since then we should be demanding at least double that. Hall is the better of the two anyway so as long as we keep him that's the main thing.

Tino is a lot more Win Bassaka than a Reece James or TAA or other progressive full backs. Defensively excellent but limited going forward. Imagine someone paying around 70m for a footballer who can't cross or shoot.

I think he is very Kyle Walker, which is no bad thing. But aye, he isn't progressive. Can make a good run but needs to be more confident on the ball.

Good comparison although he’s better at driving with the ball than Bissaka. Definitely not the technical quality of Walker though.

I'd be after £90m+ if it's city who want him.

If we're selling to these clubs we really do need to maximise what we get.

I think it's a no brainer to cash in on him in a PSR world where player trading is a necessity. Excellent player but injury record and lack of attacking output will prevent him being truly elite, right backs aren't that hard to find either, different to a good right winger or a striker, as long as they're proactive in identifying a replacement. If City come in for him negotiate a fair price and avoid a drawn out saga. Think it's beneficial to keep a decent relationship with City. They usually have a few decent young players on their books that they can't find game time for and could benefit ourselves, Oscar Bobb springs to my mind at the moment

We aren’t going to ever progress if we’re letting em take an open swing at our players in the hope that they maybe give us a few scraps from their plate.

If Livramento wants to go, they pay £90m+, and they pay it up front so we don’t have to worry about them getting kicked out of the premier league due to their extensive history of cheating, then I can’t complain too much.

Very few players higher on the list of 'must keep' than Tino Livramento for me.

They all have a price and the players wishes are a huge factor but he's one of our best.

Say we had a huge game, a cup final, or the last match to win the points for prem top four at end of season. You can pick your best eleven, everyone on our books is fit and on form. He's in that 11 for me.

Nothing we can do when he wants away though and won’t sign a contract

Is this the situation, or just speculation?

Speculation tbf on the contract but clearly City want him and reading between the lines it’s going to happen

I'd heard/read rumours etc but hadn't realised it was at the expected stage. Shame if so.

Tino is a fantastic little player especially defensively, but he's not a complete player and has a worrying propensity for injuries.

I'd love 90m as everyone seems to be saying but not sure you'd get that for a fullback who is limited going forwards. Would we sniff at 70 odd?

Love Tino but he does have a lot of injuries, however we are a far better team with him in it. We need to learn, judge if he's off, get a high quality replacement signed early and then sell him if happy with that

I think he does what he's expected to do in linking up with midfield and attack. If we had an inverted right winger like we do on the left, he'd be expected to go wide and cross but we don't.

If that were true I feel we'd have seen a lot more offensively from his extensive shifts out left. That said, it's perhaps one of his greatest strengths that he is equally sound defensively on either side.

Understand the point but he is right footed, so hitting the byline would not necessarily yield great results on the left. He's a link man in our attacks, keeps the ball moving, occupies space, whichever side he is on
