Think it was clear early on Burn was the back up LB. With Tino the third (Krafth / Trippier then RB).

Just we currently have Botman, Burn, Trippier, Krafth and Hall all injured.

Give Bunce a pay rise.

What a weird post. WTF has Bunce got to do with it? Only really Trippier and Hall where you could say it was possibly because of not managing their work load correctly. Mainly because we didn’t really have other options for the positions at the time.

Injury prone players and/or those past their best and squad building being a bit imbalanced is more of an issue here. Along with genuine bad luck (Burn).

Tonnes first choice RB and second choice LB.  with everyone fit but Hall out he plays LB so he’s the backup.

We only have 3 serious fullbacks.  No other CL team has only 3 fullbacks.  Krafth and Burn are are stop gaps.

And one of them is 35..

I think if he continues playing like this we’ll perhaps consider him as our best player by the end of the season. Won absolutely everything yesterday, and then it just looks so easy for him in possession.

He is obviously great at left back, but when I watch him play and see someone like Caicedo on the same field, I see a lot of similarities between the two in terms of their skills. I think long term he could be that rare player who receives the ball under pressure in midfield and progresses it, and wins duels out of possession too like Caicedo does. He played there his whole youth career so it’s not like it’d be a new position for him either.

I already think he’s our best player. It’s a toss up between him and Tonali but I think it’s Hall personally

He was excellent in his duels yesterday it's true but I don't think he's on Caicedos level in that regard. Chelsea's wide players are really light weight imo. That being said, Hall is better on the ball than Caicedo imo so it balances each other out.

The fact they lost what 30m and ended up with the lesser player is hilarious  (referring to Cucarella).

He's absolute quality, hopefully gets in England team for world cup as there's nobody better.

Still only 21, remember when he couldn't get on pitch when came on loan and his development since has been unreal, surprisingly good in air and strong on ball despite his size.
