Wouldn't blame him if he wanted away this summer. Shunted to the bench or out of position to accommodate Dan Burn at left-back, that's not a situation I'd want to to tolerate for too long. That, and our overall shit defensive record will be tarring him with a bad brush from an England perspective.

 

Hope not, obviously, but could understand it.

He'll never mention the dogshit performances from others throughout the whole season.

 

If this attitude was applied to everyone nobody in the squad would be playing because they've all done a lot worse than Hall has.

From the time Hall went down with a knock he seemed switched off imo. Looked like he wanted to go off and became passive after that….not the only one mind, if Wissa closes down from the front then it stops us sitting back as much.

In that case just play just play 3 centre backs and put this fella at left wing back.

 

Thought he was awful at right back as he is so left footed. Kept cutting in and not releasing the ball in time all game.

Burn at leftback doesn't work he gets in botman way too much and forgets he's not playing left centrehalf at times. 

Hall was struggling after that nasty tackle should have came off earlier.

Ot just do what other managers do and make the tough call - Botman or Thiaw alongside Burn at CB. He's his own worst enemy at the moment.

I don't think he'd mind. It's more Howe that has to get used to the thought. Burn is hardly going to decline if picked, no matter where he is asked to play.

He's played a couple of times for us at RB but it's very much make shift.

Eddie called out the Anderson goal due to a few individual errors. That may be so but if Lewis and Bruno had been subbed earlier as they were gassed, then maybe those errors wouldn't have happened.

I thought the fact Trippier is leaving at the end of season a ridiculous excuse to play Hall at RB. It's not like Trippier isn't still committed so you play the best players in their positions.

Absolute tripe from Eddie. We know he did it to avoid the hard call and keep Burn in the team. Hall isn’t and will never be a long term fix at RB, it was just nonsensical. It’s these type of daft decisions that are eroding trust in him for those of us that a marginally on the side of keeping faith for next season.

More so when we’ve got a talented lad like Hall who can play there. That team, with Burn taking Botman’s place and Tripps/Hall as RB/LB and there’s not much more Eddie can do IMHO with his personnel. Instead he just places unnecessary scrutiny on himself.
