True geordie

True grifter

Hall played in the last game ahead of burn

Howe mentored him from 18 to now, he played about 45 games this season

Tino getting called up in his place blows this out the water. He’s hasn’t played for months

Hall got dropped for making defensive mistakes which cost us points. Those mistakes were on national television and probably affected Tuchel's decision.

I wasn't a fan of playing Burn at LB ahead of Hall, but if he's been dropped from the England squad, it's due to his own lapses of concentration.

In the first match Hall was dropped we looked better defensively, and in the second one we won and Burn fucking scored.

Every accusation is a confession with these 'uhh you just support Eddie Howe FC' idiots

Really strange that the best performing English player we've got is the one not going.

I didn't like him being dropped, thought it was harsh, but the ends justified the means (Burn scoring in a win v Brighton) and Hall was restored to the side the week after and to left back the week after that.

There's no way Tuchel has made the decision just based on three games, to suggest it's Eddie's fault is mental. It's Tuchel's fault for choosing not to select one of the best young English players in the land who's played really well for most of the season.

Seems like tuchel has decided to go with Jack of all trades players. If Oreilly doesn't work out for whatever reason who do we play? Burn or Spence at leftback.

Reece  tino and stones are hardly fit as it is.

I'm very critical of Howe in comparison to others on here,  but suggesting he wasn't called up because he was dropped for a couple of games is palpably absurd.

Gordon's been out of the team for a month, he's going.

Tino's injured, he's going.

It doesn't stack up on any level.

Hall should be going over Tino.

1000% - tino has been poor most this season. Especially on the right

I can think of far more times Tino was sleeping at the back post and cost us goals. Not to mention his injury record this season.

So not sure what you said above will be the sole reason. It's probably more down to versatility. Likes of Tino can play both sides well and is arguable more defensively sound. Burn covers a few positions too, can play in a back 2 or 3 or even left back if desperate. He's chosen O'Reilly as his first choice and then obviously didn't want another specialist left back in the group and would rather have more players that play multiple roles if required.

Not that I agree. I think Hall is a diamond and would thrive on the big stage and it's a mistake to leave him at home.

Trent, Palmer, Foden, all big names who have missed out.

Lewis will get his chance again with youth on his side, naturally disappointed for him but hope Englands loss will be our gain.

I’m certain Hall is smart enough not to blame Eddie or the fact he’s playing for Newcastle for this decision, I’m sure he fucking hates Tuchel right now though [emoji38]

Take our chance and grt him signed up on a new deal. Hopefully tino has a good tournament and we can fetch max price out of him.

Tuchel was at the Barcelona game as well iirc? Your man is just thick as mince to see that performance and decide against.

Maybe he knew 3 weeks ago he wasn't going & that affected his performances, mood and Eddie's decision to take him out for a couple of games?

He definitely deserves to be there, but I’m selfishly happy with him getting a full rest over the summer. Played nearly 50 matches this season.

On a more random note, do we see his future at left back?

He'll never be the best defender and he's such a fantastic footballer, it almost feels like he's wasted there.

He'll be the best left wing back on the planet for whichever manager/team he's playing for that works out that 3-5-2 is the way to break the way the game has mostly gone
