Fatigue and injuries obviously an issue, but there have been some really poor individual performances here from key senior players. Trippier, Longstaff, Joelinton, Willock and Gordon in particular have been rank on the ball and with their decision making.

It always seems horrible in the moment but you know Eddie will have them looking amazing in two weeks.

Deserve fuck all and getting fuck all. Understandable to a point with the injuries. But too many of our big name players have been shit tonight. Miley and Pope the only ones that come out with any credit, as it stands.

Injuries obviously. But also a lack of focus and perhaps even going in to the game thinking it was gonna be easier. Some of the players haven’t even played THAT much this season.
