At least part of me feels a bit less robbed from the PSG game considering we couldn't win this game and not winning at home against PSG and even a point against dortmund going through would be somewhat a fluke. Love being back in Europe (though as ever, SJP utter shite on European nights. Could hear a pin drop second half). Better team won on the night. For some of these players, that is likely that for this competition. They’ve performed wonders getting us into it for this season, but it is clear how short some of them are in terms of where the club’s stated goals are. BShearer Posted December 13, 2023 Share Posted December 13, 2023 extremely unlucky draw this group. same in Carabao. brutal bad luck to face Dortmund, PSG, Milan and City, MU, Chelsea in CL group and first 3 rounds of Carabao. add to that our brutal shit luck with injuries and the Tonali fuck up. all our CL opponents were seasoned CL teams, lots of experience, Paris game was a cheat ref keeping PSG in the tournament.
