How often do England get a chance to play together for a few games, develop some chemistry and build-up as the tournament progresses to playing better sides. Instead they play this attritional style of football that runs their players into the ground, and expect to be able to flick a switch and play more cohesive football vs Germany, Spain, France come the knockouts.
