Whoever coaches our centre backs does a fucking cracking job, think of the improvements in Schar, Burn, Botman, and Lascelles, and now Thiaw has come in and looked great. Even Krafth, when he's had to play centre back due to injuries, has looked good there Opposite. EH the forwards. JT defenders. GJ supports both. If he carries on the way he is then he will go further up that list, he has been so impressive. I am assuming the likes of Reijnders, Zubimendi, Grealish and Roefs are ahead of him for now. Shays Given Tim Flowers
#145 What we’re saying now: Not yet played this season, although that’s his own fault as he could have played for Brentford before deadline day if he hadn’t made it abundantly clear he wanted out. Anyway, now sidelined with a knee injury. #87 What we’re saying now: With no pre-season to speak of, it’s only now that Isak is getting up to speed fitness-wise. He ran the show against Bournemouth but all accounts; goal, assist, loads of tackles, covered every blade of grass. He was a pain in the arse against us too. Injured his replacement. It's always been the case that if he started as near to 38 games as possible he'd be an asset for most sides; including us. Play him as an impact sub or a bit-part player and he's next to useless, because he's every inch a confidence player and needs at least 90 continuous minutes to get sharp. I think Leeds style of play suits him as well tbf. Would he be as effective playing for Arsenal or Liverpool?

gdm
Interestingly as good as the hindsight in this thread appears to be in the rate the transfer window thread over 84% voted it a 6 or less. So not overwhelmingly positive on any level

But Wissa is criticised because he COULD have played for Brentford if he hadn't gone on strike... 🙃
