M1tche
His energy and runs in behind were designed to drag the back 4 back to create space for others, and it worked. From what we have seen his finishing is decent when he gets the chance as well, so we could have much worse options

BennyBlanco
He was effective yesterday but he’s not anywhere near the level and consistency we need. The sort of striker who would probably tear trees up in Germany or France.
TRon
Felt sorry for him yesterday, we weren't getting the ball to him at all in the first half, he was in the box looking for supply but the crosses were poor and he was barely getting a touch. Then he was taken off when they went down to 10 men when you would have expected him to make hay. I'm not saying he's a good player, but we've played shite in general when he's started and I'm not sure it's on him.

jack j
Very minor point but I felt his closing down of their keeper resulted in us getting the ball back quicker than usual...Gordon done the same as well to be fair to him when he plays up top.. was never going to be Woltemades game but expected far more from Wissa on the pressing front
Poon Raccoon
It feels like there's an animal of a striker in there ready to burst out and take the World of Football by storm. I can see management wanting to sell him but holding back because they know it's coming, but when ? C'mon Will.
Pilko
It didn't come off for him, and he does look very raw, but he ran his bollocks off and for that I'd still rather he was in there than Wissa at the moment.
andycap
He seems to be there to make runs and press and is the closest we have to gordon in that sense. He's Doing a job for us and letting gordon get a rest.

Dokko
Hasn't played in ages. You can't really judge him on that. Quite happy to see him grt a run of games with Woltemade behind him. Think that partnership has great potential as they are exact opposites of each other.

pinkeye
I would love to see that formation used for a few more games, hopefully in a row so that the team can gel a bit. We are without Bruno for a couple of months and Wissa seems to be injured again somehow so Osula with Waltermade in behind him is a nice change that I think will start to work really well. Lush Vlad
If we are going to go back to the high energy, high press, commit numbers forward tactics of the last couple of games and we want to play with a back 4. Then I think it has to be Gordon or Osula leading the line. Maybe if Wissa didn't look so poor and unfit. Then he would be able to lead the line and the press. As I refuse to believe an on form Wissa is worse than those two as a 9. But that might just be me trying to cope with the fact we paid £55m for a striker, who at present, looks like our 4th best striker. I think when we play 3 at the back, then if the 2 behind the front man have plenty of legs, then playing Woltemade up there is fine. It worked fairly well away to PSG.
