What worries me is not so much that we don’t sign Guehi, but the lack of any serious news about an alternative. It’s looking like we’ve left this all too late.

While it does feel like it's dragging, I'll be shocked if he doesn't sign like. No way we'd still be at the table otherwise.

In just the last few days we've seen mention of Simakan, Tapsoba, Disasi, Kossounou, Costa, Christensen and Chalobah.

 

But don't let that get in the way of you choosing to worry about no alternatives!

I think it is, but I think it will be us giving in to improve the bid even further closer to the deadline, in lack of alternatives. And Parish's ego skyrocketing from managing to squeeze a little more out of us by using hardball tactics.
