New stadium with more private boxes opening into an exclusive lounge, get the Saudi charter flights in, private luxury transfers to the ground, kerching. Depending on location get a hotel added on, even better to keep it all in house. nah fuck that, I'd rather we sold players tbh Edited November 4 by Smal

However it’s not for me, and so long as we are also making it so people like me and others can get in, then let’s welcome it. In all honesty, I’d prefer for those types of people to be brought in via the clubs blackout Mercedes V series van straight into the stadium, then standing in the way of me whilst they are making their selfie ‘I’m here at the Nooo Castle stadium, and I’m going to go in and buy my jersey for 120 dollars’. SAK
32 minutes ago, gdm said: state of this interview What’s fucking wrong with the standard of sports journalism in this country or journalism in general for that matter? All these stupid questions (not sure if the word jingoism would be correct in its usage here). Who cares if he speaks English for a few seconds, the guy doesn’t want to so why be a prick and force it for your soundbite? The bit where he says you’ve spoken Portuguese for 25 minutes, guess what he’s Portuguese, managing a Portuguese team, sat in a room in Portugal. Matt1892
I’ve seen some Bournemouth fans on social media saying that Iraola is the best manager they have ever had (obviously Howe is seen as being greater due to his history there). They will do well to keep hold of him beyond the end of the season.

I don't think St James' is built for this but at places like Spurs where it has been designed for it, it's excellent. A new stadium is a must for me. St James' will always be home and in the spirit of the club but when you take in more modern venues it really does show its age in the concourse more than in the seats. Did this exact thing for Super Bowl in AZ in 2023 and couldn't ever think of a better way to see sports when it has been done properly.

McCormick
He handled that very well tbf. Are all sports journalists obnoxiously smug or is that unique to the ones in England?

I think he should've pushed back more to be honest. He looked like an embarrassed, nice bloke. After the stuff about giving English fans the cold shoulder he probably should've given him a verbal slap in Portuguese.

Yeah same thought, he should've called him out for being disrespectful and told him to fuck off, in Portuguese!
