Barely even worthy of comment really given his age and stature, other than to say it was nice he was able to get a chance. Hope he has a great career.

Needs to play more regularly with the seniors, understand the system, it was clear he wasn't taking up positions correctly, but it all comes with time, and his potential is huge.

Pleased for the lad getting minutes, reminded me when Sammy was first introduced, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights.

Certainly lost the ball alot but I'm sure Howe knew that was going to happen. Was trying to do much on the ball in an effort to make an impression. It's understandable. Clearly not ready for anything but these kind of games.

Yeah, seemed to try to force things a bit but not a surprise in the circumstances and was just trying to take his chance. Not going to put much stock in the performance overall, best of luck to him in building on this opportunity.

Thought he was about 20 so relieved to see he's only 17 and plenty of time to develop. Send him on loan somewhere

Needs to play in Europa Conference League type games

Very, very raw.

Clearly fast, but technically not good at all in that his 'feints' to beat a man seemed to knock the ball about 3 yards away which meant he normally then lost it.

Needs to learn tighter close control, and needs to also be able to get his head up and be aware of who is around him because often he'd get the ball and then be unable to release it because he couldn't shake the idea that he had to skin his opponent every time. Which would normally end with him losing it, as per the previous paragraph.

At 17 though, it's not a massive concern at this stage but he needs to become a much better footballer to complement the raw speed and flair that he clearly possesses.

Bit harsh to say he is technically not good at all. From what I gather at youth football he is technically very good with an end product at the end of it. He was probably shitting himself today and not playing his usual game

The way he moves reminds me of Eze, needs a good loan to develop that playing strength, and learn when to pass and when to best a man.

Looks a very good prospect though.

Went into business for himself too much, forgivable at his age but you'd think we'd be drumming that out of players coming through.

Would have been more impressed with some simple passes to feet than attempted tricks

I don't mind him having the confidence to take a player on and trying to make thing happen, they experienced guy on the other side was doing neither.

He does look raw and i think he would do great if we loan him out to a decent euro club

Odd take, his touch and technique was fine, he was just physically outmuscled. Not really a surprise he's a slight 17 yr old ffs

Looked very small and lightweight and like he had slippers on. Fell over a lot.

Has a nice turn on him and looks quick. He did seem a bit overawed by it all. He had a few times with loads of space to run into and one on one with a defender. But never seemed to want to attempt anything.
