I don't think Hall has been any worse than say Joelinton, Isak or Trippier.

Disagree.... all 3 of those have been not great... Hall has been well below them so far. And I have been a big supporter of his

Moves it quick. No taking 4 touches and inviting pressure like a certain CM.

Both Brazilians like to do that tbf.

Krafth with some of the worst movement I've ever seen there when it went back to Pope.

Broke his arse trying to get behind the attacker and remove himself from a position for Pope to play a simple pass to him

Krafth is ok when he's just tackling or blocking, apart from that he's a horrendous footballer.

This back 4 has 0 understanding of how to play as a unit. Hall in particular looks like a fish out of eater., his positioning has been abysmal.

Fish out of eater... 😄

Agreed I love Hall, but he's had a shocking game.

Mixed half, really. Great start and Tonali looks sharp as owt. But away from home issues from the last year are continuing; struggling to retain possession & control and inability to get Isak into the game.

We never look comfortable on the ball. Hall so disappointing.

He and Joelinton have been wasteful at times. Very poor

Only early days but I’m starting to feel v sorry for Isak. Chasing fuck all balls and cutting a very isolated figure up top.

The flat three really isolates him at times, Willock is the only one who really bridges it well.

That said, Isak has looked ponderous on the ball today IMO.
