No more trolling please. He is turd.

I'm not sure I've ever personally witnessed a reaction like that to one of Newcastle's own players at the ground, just before he was subbed off. Unreal how bad he was today.

Forest didn't have a top manager when Elanga was there.

Again, Howe is not the problem at Newcastle.

Elanga, Wissa & Woltemade is a bigger problem than Howe.

We don't have a real goalscorer at the moment. For the money we spent on them they've not been good enough.

Not having a sportong director in the summer and the Isak-saga put us back so much.

But here all players Howie wanted so surely he has to take some of the blame, especially as none of them are getting game time over Osula.

As for the Isak situation, a fair few had doubts about him after the cup final. Then once it was obvious he had to go, we dragged our heels hoping to make him stay and lost time in our search for a replacement.

Also going after Ekitike again was a strange move, considering 2 season ago he rejected us.

There's been a lot of hyperbole in this thread with people claiming he's League 1 at best, unable to control a ball, incapable of making the right decision and even that there's 'better players in the Sunday league'.

After yesterday's showing I have to say that I agree with these sentiments.

Apart from the Sunday League nonsense, but even that's not quite as ridiculous as it was at the time.

Abysmal. Hasn’t got a footballing brain and no technical ability as well.

The wasted outlay on him will piss off the owners more than the poor form, probably.

Hope the lad pulls out a James Rodriguez type World Cup so we can punt him ASAP.

Shows enough to get Nuno splurging £40m for next season at Wet Spam.

There was a moment in the second half where Miley was running with it, wanting Elanga to make a run, he ended up going to hide behind a play, Miley looked furious.

I’m not even sure what we do with that RW position for the end of the season. Elanga seem levels below he was last year and Murphy has been a liability. I’m not even sure you can go back to shoe horning Barnes back there if Gordon wants to he away.

This. He was a really good player at Forest in a system that suited him. This is Eddie all over at present - there is only one system, EVER.
There is no attempt to build around the strengths of the players we have. Could it have been foreseen that Elanga has rubber feet and no brain? Who knows, but you work with what you have and try to create conditions where they can thrive and succeed regardless. This guy has got no chance under Eddie and I do have some sympathy for him.

To be fair to Elanga, it's not just him, that was happening all over the pitch. There's no flow to our game at all at the moment.

If Gordon wants off, get shot and sell Murphy too. Then buy a new left winger and a young right winger and go with Barnes and Elanga as backup.

The reason I'd keep Elanga is because, no one will buy him for anywhere near what we paid and at least he has age on his side where he could (potentially) get better. Murphy is 31 (?) and is only going to get worse.

I'm sure Froggy told us he was poor and, I'm afraid to say, he was spot on.

Just not good enough for what we need and has zero confidence by the looks of it. Get £30 million and lick our wounds.

He was awful yesterday, but I have less of an issue with that than the cowardly Barnes performance. Or Murphy for their second. Effort is the bare minimum we can expect and it’s not something I would criticise Elanga for.

Give Park a few games, he’s supposed to be doing well for the reserves and we ain’t got much to play for this season anyway.

Totally forgot about him. Assuming he’s not ready but he can’t be much worse

Take that zero away and you might be more accurate. [emoji38]

The season at this stage is a write off, so let's prep for the future. Shift Osula to the right, get Park on the left and hoy Woltemade up top. At this stage, why not.
