I'm pretty sure there's a problem. It looks like Forest are going to try and block the Gibbs-White / Spurs transfer, but I'd have thought that the best that they could achieve is a delay rather than an outright victory. However, if they can jam things up in the courts, then that may be all it takes for Spurs to look elsewhere.

They may not have any legal route to block the Elanga transfer, but maybe they can delay things by not forwarding paperwork or notifications and the like, all in the hope that we might lose patience and sign someone else.

Losing both players would be a disaster for them.

Edwards said yesterday all documents were completed, I suspect the delay is just getting all the content ready.

What's clearly happened is Elanga has distant Ukrainian relatives and has been drafted into the military.  He's currently doing his basic training just outside of Kiev

That's the only logical conclusion I can draw, given the circumstances.  Typical!!!!

How many more times is the over reaction to the time it takes us to announce a player gonna happen, every time there's a delay is mad reasons central.

Why are some people so fucking mental [emoji38]

Exactly this. Every transfer announcement takes ages, because we like to have all the media / interviews / photos etc ready before we announce anything. It's the same every time but people seem to have memories shorter than goldfish.
