I feel for him because he just doesn't seem to fit our style of play at all, and he doesn't have the tools to suggest he ever will. As someone else said, he's been brought in to fix a problem we didn't have.

You've got to question the profiling on this one. "Is rapid" isn't typically a quality that elite teams look for in their wingers, it's just an added bonus.

Had the same thought against Forest. Just don’t think he’s got the skill set to turn around unfortunately.

Elanga is exactly what every Man U fan told me he was so far. You can’t write off a player after 10 games but he’s really stretching the point. I think we’ve forgotten what a technically ‘elite’ player out wide looks like.

Speed merchant, good for a counter attacking team but not for a team that wants to play football.

Think is, we were trying to play to his strengths in the first half and it just didn’t work and won’t.

Can't believe how bad he's looked since the season started, from the very start he missed a sitter and looked so disappointing since, i don't understand why he runs kicking the ball with both his feet which obviously slows him down like it did today.

Not only are his performances disappointing but when he starts we lose Murphy who can at least contribute with goals and assists.

Been shite other than maybes the first half of Barca.

Was watching the match thinking how we all hoped for an upgrade on Murphy RW signing to push on to the next level, and so far Murphy looks better than him.

Doesn't help when Gordon is shite on the other side either, we've got a team where the Wolt looks the only one genuinely likely to score out of the front 3.

I don’t think he’s looked bad because there’s phases of play where you can see what he offers. Same with all 4 of our wingers though - none of them have made a good start to the season. You can probably blame Murph the least given his expectation level but absolutely none of them have done enough. It’s the main reason results have been poor in my opinion.

Had loads of open space at one point on counter in first half and just half arsed his run.

Least Murphy beats a man and puts a cross in.

We need some creativity on the wings, he could be great on the counter with his pace but does he have ability to get past a few men in a low block?
