Something like £45m to sack Arteta. Not bad for someone who's last job was an assistant. He's done some jedi mind tricks on that club.

Source for this? That can't be true.

Signed a new 3 year deal 2 months ago. Previous was £9m a year, reports are it got him close to pep who is on £20m a year.

It's likely a clause exists to reduce any compensation, it would be utterly incompetent of Arsenal to give him a deal which would cost them so much to terminate.

On what grounds? Maybe if he doesn't get CL, otherwise he's not signing it, and he was in his final year. He held all the cards and his mate, Edu, signed it off. Wonder if that's why he's leaving.

Tbh, arsenal don't like sacking their managers. Probably acted in haste with emery, so the one recent time they did, they jumped too early.

Being sensible for a second, Arteta has done a great job at Arsenal. He completely reformed their side, made it bright and gave them a solid defence. He also got them to a whisker off the title....

However, he was given ridiculous amounts of money and looks as though they may have plateaued. Some of their signing seem dull. The look gassed from last year. Of course the worst thing for them is that Arteta is incredibly unlikeable. I imagine he's an absolute cunt to get on with.

Beautiful! 🤩 “Bro I love Isak as well, but I don’t love you right now”

See how 2 of them put 1-0 up on their scoreboard, to them 🤪

Just accept it, lads 😂😂

Probably thought we’d be a push over. So good to see us looking like 22/23 form. Long may it continue. With Botman back(I know it will take some time with him) and the odd Mitchell player in January we could be looking good. Also some of the European fixtures may start to take some toll on other team’s fitness.

Why the fuck are we listening to Arsenal fans wanting Arteta out?

Fuck me man, 2 years ago they were heading to mid table obscurity, with the very real possibility that they would become one of those clubs with the big names but who went down.

They have had 2 title challenges, and should at the very least finish in the top 4 this season.

I do remember a common thought on here being that it was their place we’d be taking in the top four after we beat them 2-0 at the end of 21/22.
