We scored three goals against a team playing with a low block, something we have really struggled to do in the past, and it was a team who had the second best defense in the league and where really positive. We scored a goal from Corner, don't blink, it really happened. Isak is back into the groove, and looking back to his best. Hall continuing his quality start to the season. We're now within a point of 3rd. ON. THE. UP. Isak is back into the groove, and looking back to his best. Madonna will be pleased.

Kid Icarus Posted Sunday at 16:09 Share Posted Sunday at 16:09 I look at us now and even when the opposition look threatening I think this makes sense, we look much more coherent.
Keegans Export Posted Sunday at 16:09 Share Posted Sunday at 16:09 Great turnaround, deserved win. Not a great first half but thought Howe reacted very well, changes clearly worked and kept them motivated when heads could have easily dropped. Shearergol Posted Sunday at 16:09 Share Posted Sunday at 16:09 8th but a point off 3rd is mad. solid that, Hall is brilliant, midfield somehow working out how to play together. Isak back to loving his football. fucking hate Forest

Thought they were in a bit of a false position tbh, but they are a dangerous side. They defend well and have a lot of threat on the counter. It's not like they've been lucky. Wolfcastle Posted Sunday at 16:10 Share Posted Sunday at 16:10 (edited) First half wasn't all that bad. Definitely the better team, maybe the better of two ordinary teams, and upped it in the second half and were not just distinctly the better team but good and more reminiscent of previous seasons Edited Sunday at 16:10 by Wolfcastle

Yorkie Posted Sunday at 16:12 Share Posted Sunday at 16:12 Pope - 7 Livramento - 7 Schär - 8 Burn - 9 Hall - 8 Longstaff - 7 Bruno - 8 Willock - 8 Joelinton - 9 Isak - 8 Gordon - 6 Tonali - 7 Barnes - 7 Would honestly argue that was the best all round performance of the season tbh, though I didn't see Man City and second half of Arsenal. Karjala Posted Sunday at 16:13 Share Posted Sunday at 16:13 Feels like the NUFC of 2 seasons ago is back. Have felt like it was coming since the Everton away match, we just didn't get the goals to win that points, now we are.

Fak Posted Sunday at 16:15 Share Posted Sunday at 16:15 Definitely back to looking like our old selves. Press is back. Willock is back. Isak is scoring again. Joelinton right wing gives us the option to put Gordon back in his favoured position. Happy days. Longstaff very impressive once more.

The table is absolutely mental in that regard right now I can't recall a season like this where there were 3 points separating 11th from 3rd, 11 games into a season. NUFCDoog Posted Sunday at 16:16 Share Posted Sunday at 16:16 Great result that, we were the much better team throughout and it never looked in doubt once we equalised. I've also had a lot to say about how boring the PL is nowadays, today was definitely different, helped that it was us involved obviously but that was a cracking attacking game
