Newcastle United 0-2 West Ham United (25/11/24)

Incredibly frustrating half of football. Started well, piss poor defending for their goal followed by panic stations for a while before descending into chaos with no control whatsoever alongside poor final balls and finishing. The positive thing I guess is that the second half can easily be quite a bit better if we get our shit together.

Hinchcliffe stfu. Literally the same lines every game. “Should have done better”. “This is the last thing he needs”. So so so sick of him.

You'd think Emerson was the second coming of Maldini as well.

Why is our midfield allergic to playing through balls? so many good runs being made.

I feel like we've been like this forever. If I had a quid for the amount of runs I've seen various strikers make over the years for absolutely no reason...

Frustrating half, probably been the better team but seem to be lacking bite and that final ball/end product. Game is calling out for Tonali, as we actually have space to play in.

You could make 5 subs at HT and you'd still have shite on the pitch. Utterly woeful. Kelly, Bruno, Joelinton, Isak, Willock & Longstaff all having stinkers. Fuck, nearly forgot about Gordon, might as well not be on the pitch.

Bruno and Longstaff are having v little impact on the game. Idk how Tonali doesn't get in this team.

Typical overreaction here I see, I'm glad I watched it away from the forum, we've not been half as bad as suggested on here. We've been the better side, just a lapse in concentration separates us.

I think if we score early second half West Ham will fold, we've had a couple of chances I'd expect us to score so it just feels like a matter of time.

I don’t think we’ve been that bad here.  Kelly’s brain fart led to 15 mins of bad football.  Still think we’ve been the better side - and we’ve had chances.

Just hasn't quite come together in the final third yet. But we're by far the better team.

Not too dissimilar to the Forest game really.

We need Tonali on for Longstaff to threaten them more going forward. He's not really adding anything here.
