Our midfield is too often this season just a sieve. Have no control for games, and we’re not good enough to win end to end games consistently.

That’s been a problem longer than this season tbh.

Wilson scores all day long if he doesn't have an arm around his neck.

This is where VAR doesn't work because refs can bottle these and feel vindicated by the high bar of  VAR not intervening

Formation change has made us worse.

We suffered so much at the start of the season to get to that formation we started with that was looking so good.

Just needed Tonali for Longstaff for a bit more impetus.

Couldn't believe the complaining about Willock, Joelinton and Gordon early on.

We were still looking dangerous and just needed some patience.

Ended up a mess now.

The amount of image.png.b607e6a3bb14c24b838eeade36a06b94.png popping up when things are going against us compared to when we're doing well is staggering

Second goal killed us

Seems have to lowered our confidence and belief even further. The pen would have made it interesting, but that not being given has probably ended any hope.

Feels like we’ve done the old ‘get as many attacking players on and see what happens’ tactic. Not really working too well.

We love backing off and not closing down shots and all. Done it all season.
