Can't say i know too much about our reserves bare theses three  Parkinson,Al.Harrison, Sanusi so id love it if they got minutes

I'd be very surprised if any of them make the squad. I think the best we can hope for in terms of 'young talent' is Osula and Miley starting. Howe will rotate but will still really want to win, so I think the bench will be packed with the cavalry of the 'first XI' who will be brought on circa. 60-70 minutes in if we are in the shit.

FWIW I think the XI will be: Odysseas, Trippier, Schar, Kelly, Targett, Longstaff, Miley, Willock, Almiron, Barnes and Osula.

Subs: Dubravka, Krafth, Burn, Hall/Livramento, Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton, Murphy, Gordon.

The only differences to that I could foresee is Howe going stronger at LB and in midfield - by possibly starting Hall or doing Trippier on left and Krafth on the right, and then for the midfield playing either Bruno or Joelinton instead of Miley.

I hope we give these guys a proper cup day out at a big club.

A great pre-match Wor Flags display. A loud crowd. A plucky first 45 minutes where some last ditch defending keeps us out, maybe a highly dubious penalty call that isn't given that folklore can build up as a great injustice. Then a second half where our fitness and talent shows through and a couple of goals come. Finishing up with kidney punching goal from one of our academy lads, Sansui perhaps, to make it 3 nil. Just a shame for them it's not a Saturday as Newcastle is a great night out. Hopefully a few booked tomorrow off work and can still enjoy it, wrapped up warm in their freshly bought half and half scalfs (full disclosure I have a couple of these, so no judgement here).

*Also there need to be at least 3 references from the commentators about the "long drive back down the A1"

Penalties or replay if we’re even after full time?

Extra time and then penalties

Edit: Replays have been scrapped starting from this season

*don’t know anything about them so that’ll have to do.

I was in  The Toon last night and met loads of Bromley fans.  They were in good spirits and good craic from them.

We giving them a canny few £££? Full wedge or halfers?

They are already getting 45% of what may be the biggest receipts of round 3.

Hope they all have a great day but I'd prefer any charity to go to NE non league teams.

They are five miles down the road from me. Only club of the 92 who are in a Tory constituency (and that was only by 302 votes).

Did not know that! Rest are Labour/Lib Dem constituencies?

Looking forward to this but have pretty low expectations. I think we'll win but it'll be fairly ugly, much like that Wimbledon game. Given what Howe said about identifying this weekend as an opportunity to rotate, hopefully the team he intends to put out has been working on patterns in training.

So not one of the 121 Tory constituencies has a football league ground in it (apart from Bromley)?

Yep, according to this research.

Weren't that many before the last election - working man's game and all that.

I don't know if I'm being special (very possibly), but I was looking yesterday to try and find some live football on BBC iPlayer and couldn't find it on the TV... where am I meant to be looking for this game?!

Iplayer or red button
