Ipswich Town vs. Newcastle United: 21/12/24 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

Recommended Posts

By the way, I'm on a roll now.  I've predicted our last four results.  Yes I had a defeat to Brentford for those that are watching.  Ipswich away is a stonewall 0-2.

Shame big Joe is out but he's been looking like the walking wounded for awhile now and could do with the rest, especially after getting his face trampled on tonight to add insult to injury.

Willock looked decent when he came on and hopefully he's injury free and ready to put in a performance.

On paper to me the Willock, Tonali, Bruno mid 3 is potentially out best but we are yet to see it properly.

Having said all that, it'll probably be Longstaff who comes in after being suspended for tonight.

If it's not 10-nil we're shit.

Win here and it's very much the Newcastle of "old". Enter an important week and simply deliver. Keep hope. Not Craig. Rally. NUWNBD

These haven't won at home so far this season and we're off the back of two very good and important wins that's given us a bit of momentum.

We all know what's going to happen

Love the feeling of desperately anticipating games but dread the next bout of whiplash in the wake of another juddering defeat on the road.

Hopefully given the nature of the last two games we won't have to rotate too much and we can continue the momentum.

Luckily there won't be an international break right at the time when we've gained momentum this time around. I think that hurt us a little bit last time.

Who do we think comes in for Joelinton?

I reckon Willock, it's the LCM role which is his position and he hasn't had much of a chance to start this year.

Willock will give us balance, I am not sure putting Tonali there and bringing Longstaff in on the other side will do that.
