Manchester United 0-2 Newcastle United (30/12/24)

Recommended Posts

Disappointed we didn't score 5 tbh, absolutely battered them for first 30 mins and funny as fuck the clear shots they did have were fucking awful.

Hate the cunts and commentators were wishing them to score and was no chance. 2nd half was us just managing the game at back.

Long way back for them as their players are mostly trash, need whole new midfield and poundland Haaland was bullied by Burn and Schar.

Yeah would be great if Chelsea have a wobble and arsenal have some tasty games coming up, get something at spuds and things are looking good in the new year

We will beat Spurs.  It will be a similar performance like tonight against Man Utd.

"Despair" and "no hope", yet trophy wins in recent memory... cry me a fucking river

Oh, he was right about one thing though, we should have had about 5 🤙

Strange second half but fucking yeeeeeeeeeeeees!!!

About time we buried these on their own terf and we did it with just about relative ease. Would have loved a complete thrashing but considering our record there that was fantastic.

Dubravka: 6.5

Trippier: 6.5 Livramento: 7

Schär: 6

Burn: 7

Hall: 7.5

Bruno: 8.5

Tonali: 8

Joelinton: 7.5

Murphy: 6.5

Isak: 8

Gordon: 7.5

Beffling the form these are in atm. Can't help but feel they would perform similar to us if set up same way as us with the players available to them.

Onana

Dalot/Mazraoi - De Ligt - Martinez - Dalot/Shaw

Fernandes - Ugarte - Mainoo

Diallo - Højlund/Zirkzee - Garnacho

Looks pretty tasty for a team hoping to compete for a CL spot imo.

I think that's about right but big questions about whether Amad and Garnacho are actually able to break through against tough teams. Better than nothing though, I agree.

As much as I'm obviously happy, can't shrug the livid feeling I have with Schar. Absolute no need for that booking.

To be fair, I thought it was pretty 50/50 as far as a card goes, and he was also absolutely gutted after the match. You could see he was visibly upset with himself and Tino was even having to console him a bit.

I think it was more multiple fouls than anything else.

Actually feel sorry for him!

You know what, do I fuck! We’ve been there, done that and now it’s our turn. Few signings in Jan and off we go.

Thought we had a strong bench today but struggled to see on the pitch who to replace. We do however need to start swapping things around, we’ve been here before with starting the same team week after week.

Aye, 3 of the last 4 wins have been against absolute shite, but we are looking quite like the 22/23 team in the last few weeks.

I wouldn't even say that, this team has evolved, we're not having to go hell for leather for the full 90 to get a result, we're much better at controlling games now and Tonali in that pocket means we're not running as hard when we do get bypassed or lose possession.

Where’s that tosspot, Froggy? Does he still frequent these parts?
