Thought Bergvall has done quite well to find space and resist the press, he seems to be starting a lot of their attacks.

He's been good. We need to keep an eye on him.

I’d say that Bergvall has been as expected. A young player doing a lot of the basics right. But also some sub-par decision making as per our first goal. The further the first half went on the further away from ”PL-ready” he looks. We’ve been OK, nothing more, and still have had control after our first.

Can we get back to our inventive corner routines, instead of trying to straitjacket the keeper

Yeah, even if we'd scored, the goal wouldn't have been given. We'd had our cards marked.

It looks like we've wisely given up on that strategy anyway.

Wonder why we have stopped.

Feels like a last minute change of plan to me. When word was out Forster was out and Austin was in we decided to put corners on the keeper and see if he can deal with the physicality and test his nerves.

But instead of putting our set pieces ON the goalkeeper we’re putting them straight TO the goalkeeper.

He’s had a couple of easy ones too. Think it’s the speed and intensity of the game, players are gonna mistime things. Joe had a moment of hesitation to be 1 on 1 but the awareness to be there was fantastic.

We need 3rd goal. which should be forth-coming, as long as we do nothing stupid. Bruno, Sandra and Big Jo got ahold of the midfield at the moment. :)

DBD skating on thin ice a bit, mind!

Fucking Sandra 😂

Looked better as the half went on. Some really good play but also some sloppy technical errors. I don’t trust Murphy and Tino too much in general play at times. In their faces please. Much better once we got Bruno and Tonali more involved. Burn needs to be careful.
