I knew this lot wouldn’t turn up on my birthday. Cake tastes like sand now. Cheers, lads.

Happy Birthday, hope your day gets better.

We deserved fuck all today. Second best all over the pitch. We had to lose eventually but preferably not getting pumped at home.

One of the richest teams in the world and we can't buy anybody because of stupid rules that other rich teams seem to find loopholes everywhere. It just isn't right.

These ffp rules need looked at.

Well done to Bournemouth though, they've been exceptional and far and away hungrier from the start.

On to next week, and one thing is for sure, getting a Champions league place is going to very difficult. So many teams in the mix and I keep waiting on Forest to drop away but is still not happening.

Nervy stuff, but that's football for you.

Little reminder of just how shockingly poor our depth is. We’ve looked tired from the first whistle and there’s nothing to come in at all.

The bench was shocking. Barnes would have been only option worth bringing on if he wasn't injured.

These things happen. The better you get, the harder teams work to figure you out and then you need to come up with new answers.

Nah doesn't work like that i'm afraid, it's all worked out by a mathematic equation. If you take a 20p piece and...

Oh well ...

Been a heck of a run.

But my goodness, what a shitty way to end it.

So many poor performances today. Tonali the only one that was ready to play.

You've had a glorious last month and a half isn't that enough for you? What do you expect, 10 wins in a row. Don't be ridiculous.

I did expect us not to be AWFUL against an injury-raveged Bournemouth side at home.

Well played to Bournemouth. Out worked us everywhere on the pitch.

Wake up call after a fantastic run of games that we can't just show up and expect to win games.

Shame to see that we're still a team that can get beaten that heavily.

Was definitely a trap game.

Worst possible team to have to face early today after playing Wednesday.

They got us real good.

Is it necessary to use words like embarrassing to describe a 9 game winning run being ended by a team that won at Stamford Bridge 3 days ago and are now 1 point behind us? We threw attacking players on to try and get an equaliser so the score looks worse than it might have done - big deal.

Using the word "embarrassing" to describe a performance in which our players tried but ultimately failed, falling short to a brilliant opposition performance, is frankly, embarrassing.
