Newcastle United 1-2 Fulham (01/02/25)

Recommended Posts

Such a paradox supporting both Newcastle and the Denver Broncos. On paper we look relatively similar, finishing high, more wins than losses. But with the Broncos we could beat the mid to lower teams easily and couldn't beat the best teams. With Newcastle we can beat all the best teams but struggle massively against mid level teams, especially at home.

Willock has been woeful, I want to see Miley in future.

I was shocked that Miley wasn’t the one to come on, and earlier too. It was obvious how we lacked composure in that first half.

Where were the subs when were playing shite second half but still ahead? Eddie needs to sort his sub game out. Never makes preemptive changes when the tide turns, just lets it run on until the opposition score.

This is what it is at this point. He doesn’t tend to make subs when in a good position but playing badly that aren’t semi-pre planned. That’s Eddie.

People blaming Eddie for not bringing on subs and then when he brings on the only viable options to the game also complaining.

It's frustrating but our squad is ridiculously unbalanced with a load of shit defenders and backup midfielders. It's why we've clearly been trying to pie off Kelly all window clearly.

PSR is killing us because we need attacking reinforcements.

One eye on wednesday is a load of shite for me, like they can't put that out of their minds for a couple of hours man

We were also this passive against Bournemouth & Southampton. Southampton were just too shit to do anything about it.

It’s still a side in desperate need of a refresh and some help. As it is, we won’t have strengthened again for the 3rd consecutive window.

This, I think and we still have the shadow of Mike Ashley's Newcastle hanging over the squad.
