I think you are probably right TBF, it's more probable that he doesn't start but it's also perfectly possible that he's given 45 from the start. Totally different players regarding their injury history. But Isak got a surprise start and just the first half at Sheff Wed after missing what, 3 months I think it was? The season we finished 4th only Brentford made more subs and they weren't usually because of injury, more so putting fresh legs on to maintain intensity. You can tell he's desperate not to make the side worse with his subs. My wider point was that Howe not bringing a player on isn't always an indication of fitness, form of even how he rates them, especially when it comes to younger players.
