First was a gift, second looked borderline offside (show me some lines!), but was still poor defending from Trippier again. Third looked like we'd given up. The guy was in acres.

All three goals were absolutely of our own fault.

Seems like we went out there to slow things down in order to turn the pressure on when Man City started to tire. Problem being we lulled ourselves into falling asleep while Man City got envigorated by the gift we gave them for their first.

Also we've been shite for 4 league games now.  If that isn't concerning, I don't know what is.

It's buzzard Nees in left scratching my head way more often than I expected to be. It's so odd for the commitment we have prided ourselves on to become an on off switch.

I hate seeing us back up and play passive it doesn't suite us at all. We can only compress space by playing and press high, the moment we drop deep we are screwed.

We’re not good away from home generally; but we not good at all against quality sides.

Howe’s away league record before today vs the four members of the big six who haven’t been misfiring:

W0 D2 L11

Not a pop at Howe, just a reminder of how difficult these games are.

Do people reckon we were just trying to hang in before going at them in the final part of the match?

Aye, which is an absolutely mental approach against an opposition that thrives when given loads of the ball and has been falling to bits all season when pressed.

Its not about that. Loads of teams have given City a game this season. We are coming there and rolling over as usual.

Of course it's about that.

All I've seen all day long is stupid score predictions, 0-3 etc away to a side we never beat away, I don't think it's arrogance, it's just getting carried away and believing we're somehow going to win because Man City are slightly out of form, you know a side that just won four titles back to back.

Isak takes Bruno’s through ball in his stride and Gordon takes more care with his through ball and you could weirdly be looking at a different game.

Got bad vibes from KO watching our midfield looking over their shoulders. Got to be more aggressive if playing that way.

Whether you agree with it or not, you know exactly what Yorkie's point is though. Our form there. We haven't even scored there in 7 games.

This is a different City team to the ones from those games, though. In previous seasons they were borderline invincible, this time we're just playing like they are.
