A C feels slightly harsh, but a B would feel too generous right now. I agree with what others have about needing more support in front of him to be able to be more attacking down the flank, and I think he has the attributes to get there, but for now I think he is a high C.

Middle C. Start for good majority of sides in league, but level below required. Not kicked on as much as I hoped this season, but I do think playing with wingers in front who can’t control ball in tight spaces to link up play, limits him.

Next season you want to see a step forward, but if ends up a limited full back, I don’t think it would be that much of an issue because of this athleticism and getting years out of him.

He's definitely a C at the moment, but absolutely not "one of the best in his position" based on this season, so nowhere near a B yet for me. Defensively he's generally solid but he is really poor on the ball at times, on both sides, and seems to get caught on it in dangerous positions at least once a game.

I think he has the potential to kick on to a B next season though.

Lacks technical ability and awareness. Really good athlete and carries the ball well when in form even though the end product is lacking massively.  I’m not convinced about his mentality either.

All the positives when we signed him lauded his ability to drive with the ball into space and carry up the pitch; that his chance creation could be top tier if he went to the by line and played a ball low across or cut backs inside. He’s doesn’t really do any of that anymore for us.

his defensive game when on form is elite; not many better 1 v 1 defenders out there.

This season he seems flat footed and switches off / slow to react to danger or chances on both ends.

He still has the ability to drive with the ball and carry it forward, he's also a pretty good defender IMO. But he doesn't seem to have much real technical skill beyond that, his passing and crossing leave a lot to be desired. It calls into question us paying such a high fee for him tbh, but not sure he'll be keeping his England spot for long.

B at defending, D at attacking = C

When he signed I thought it would be the other way around as I remembered him picking up a lot of offensive points in FPL when breaking through for Soton.

He looks pretty clumsy going forward and his attempts at dribbling sometimes just entails trying to run straight through a defender [emoji38] Hopefully he'll improve

I think it's worth bearing in mind that last season you'd have seen ratings similar to the ones we're seeing for Hall now. It was pretty much a universal opinion that he was about to have a real breakout season. I'm still pretty confident that he will tbh.

Probably say for Tino, he should look to develop into what Hakimi has become. He’s not going to be a RB that breaks line with passes or massive diags, but he can break lines running with ball and just be a constant outlet by his strides forward.

Hakimi exceptional for it, and Tino should aspire to be similar.

C for me. Versatility is a plus, but he's actually not as threatening as he was early days. Has struggled a little over the last year and possibly regressed a little bit. Hopefully he and Harvey can get an agreement going. Not sure if he's low on confidence, playing through injury or just not on the same wavelength as others at the minute. I do think he's potentially a B, but he's not operating near that level at the minute.

Given his early promise perhaps a somewhat disappointing C for Tino Livramento.

God knows how this one is going to go. Nick Pope now...
