Twice this season they’ve beat us on our own turf. The second half of the league game was absolutely dire.

Running theme at SJP and beyond that we’re significantly lesser, especially going forward, in the second half of games.
 

If Eddie has one glaring weakness, it’s that for someone who pretty much only plays 4-3-3, he seems to have no answer to how you get a midfield 3 functioning in tandem with each other to dictate the pace and direction of the game. Even our fantastic winning run was primarily based on Isak scoring for fun and some plucky defending at the other end.

We didn’t play 4-3-3 the last two games and we looked even worse, I thought.

The lingering feeling for me is sheer bitterness in that, for us, we had to win it twice and that didn't apply to Brighton. 

 

Others will take a different view because of their hard-ons for lines that only exist in the digital world, but it's not far off Tino/PSG levels of bullshit for me.

Honestly one of the worst I’ve felt leaving the stadium in years and I honestly mean that. Absolutely fuming - it’s very rare you’ll get to the quarters with the teams that are left in it now. 
 

An absolutely huge opportunity missed and it will be even more sickening when one of Bournemouth, Brighton or Villa go on to win it. I certainly wouldn’t fear playing Man City at Wembley at the minute. 
 

It feels like 2023 all over again. Playing absolutely shit in the lead up to the final. Was quietly confident when we beat Arsenal that we could cause Liverpool problems. Now I’m pretty certain we’re to be embarrassed on and off the pitch.
