There's a crucial moment immediately before that compilation starts where they punt it forward for the first time and Schär bring it down with such composure. They were all just so on it. 

Started right back at the beginning of the game really, with all those little headers by Trippier back to the keeper. We just had the perfect attitude that we were here to be deadly serious, dominate Liverpool and win.

We have won a trophy. It still hasn’t sunk in properly, I keep getting random emotions and beaming smiling. 
 

How many people said they’d die happy seeing us win something? I know I have. Feels like the first of many. 
 

I vaguely remember 98 and 99, was only young but remember everyone with NUFC stuff in their windows, on their cars etc. Remember 2023 more vividly being in London for it. The pain was immense but nothing compared to the joy this has brought.

I will never get tired of watching Dan Burn score our first cup final goal in my lifetime. The perfect player to do it. 

 

Also Tonali tying his bootlaces in the 97th minute was iconic. Such nonchalance, he knew it was in the bag if they kept up what they were doing.

Lost my Mam last year, today would have been her birthday. It was meant to be, we win a Cup then Paddy’s Day (she was named after it, Irish on her Grandmother’s side) & her birthday today.

 

We’ve not let her ashes go; now feels the right time. Shed a tear when Burn scored. She was brought up in the West End, Joe Harvey used to visit one of her friends house regularly, on his bicycle. She worked in town in the 50’s and watched the FA Cup parades from the office windows. Now is the time.
