Leicester City vs. Newcastle United: 07/04/25 @ 20:00 (Sky Sports)

Isak will be desperate to play and get his goal tally up, but I wouldn't be adverse to starting him on the bench and let Osula loose on that dodgy back line of theirs. If we need a goal late on, then let Isak put his boots on, personally think we need him more in our following 2 games.

Isak’s plays the first hour and gets a hat-trick then comes off for Wilson. Osula comes on RW to give Murphy a rest after his 3 assists and 27% pass completion rate.

They're a positive bunch on Foxes Talk...seem happy to accept a pounding so it puts pressure on Forest

You can’t really blame them. RVN has shown himself to be clueless and I think it is something like 7 league games at home without a goal.

They can score tomorrow night if they want. So long as we win!

I heard he was going to be rested to be fair.

If it saves him for the rest of the season I would take it tbh. Not worth risking him for the sake of one game, and while I don't have a load of confidence in either Wilson or Osula as alternatives, we should have enough about us to get a win against Leicester even without Isak.

Very decent set of results this weekend. Some maybe will say Villa wasn't, but, if we win the next three games, then we will be at least five points above Villa and within 1 point (maybe less) of Forrest.

Up to the players, if they have the attitude and play to the level, which is even close to the standard of the Liverpool game, then I just can't see us not winning the next three (even though Palace and Man U are in better form).

Brentford, although not the best performance overall, was a vital win, as it was always going to be a test after the emotions of the final and parade. Make a statement lads tonight, go into the match with the right attitude and not thinking it will be a walkover.

Getting Champions League is massive for us for next season. It will be the difference of adding one or two extra quality players and taking us to the next step forward.

Win both our games in hand and we got 5pts clear of 6th. Huge.

Shame one of them is against Palace. Always absolute horse shit games against them. More faith that we'll beat Man U than Palace.

Thinking about this and staying same side, think I’d potentially like to see Gordon start RW. Usually plays below his levels there, but he should have an attitude after his red of wanting to repay people back, so get him RW and see if he does that. One great game there, can mean we roll with him and Barnes to end of season potentially.
