3 important points, nice little boost to the GD. Seemingly no injuries and Joelinton & Isak got a fairly early rest. Besides the 2nd half being a complete snooze fest I can't really complain about anything.

We'll need to step up a few gears if we want anything from our next 3 games though.

Good result, lads. Did what we needed to do against absolutely hideous opposition. Feel for Leicester and their fans.

Not much to analyse about our performance, really. Job was done very early and we mostly played within ourselves thereafter.

Tonali MotM. Amusing number of little tackles and interceptions. Must be a nightmare to play against.

The spoiled fan in me stamps his feet at the missed opportunity for more goals to really bump the GD, the logical human realizes they probably switched off a bit to conserve energy with the game won inside 15 minutes and with one eye on a big game at the weekend. Good win, average display.

We won that in neutral, never mind first gear. Did barely anything and walked it. Very strange seeing Newcastle do that.

I’d have taken that all day long at the start of the game. Another win on the board.

Big game Sunday now, hope we’ve saved up some aggression for these cunts.

Game just faded out, but can't argue with the result. Got some key players off the pitch after an hour which will help them stay fresh so no complaints.

Love seeing us ahead of Man City.

We have to finish ahead of them this season.

Total missed opportunity otherwise

Absolute bog standard professional game of football from the lads that. The second half was all about getting through it unscathed, wasting as little energy as possible, without any injuries or suspensions, and from that perspective its absolutely job done, even if that second half was the biggest non-event the sport has seen and I was debating whether to go to bed from around the 70th minute.

Leicester are turbo shit. Like utterly tragically bad.

To be needlessly critical I thought Miley and Osula were shite when they came on. Osula needs to just chill the fuck out. Plays like he behaves on buses etc.
