ITK knobber on twitter (one who usually gets reasonable bits and pieces) saying the injury is worse than first thought and they're a bit worried about how long it's going to take to heal.

Didn’t even realise he was crocked tbh. What’s up with him?

Feels like an opportunity missed not extending the goal difference. Will be forgotten on Sunday when we win 3-0 again, mind.

Goal difference is over-rated. Winning 8-0 last year kicked off the injury crisis.

Conserving energy and having no fresh injury concerns is far more important.

Mad how quickly time flies and things can change like.

9 years since they won the league.

4 years since they won the FA Cup

They beat us 4-0 in December 2021, now they look like a terrible Championship team and we're on the hunt for Champions League football and have just won the League Cup.

Make hay while the sun shines and enjoy it.

You could see we were conserving energy from the very start. I actually fell asleep just after 2nd kickoff😂

Strange game, I don't think we played very well at all in general but ended up being a really comfortable win because Leicester are bloody awful. We essentially coasted for 60 minutes though which hopefully will mean we're nice and fresh for Sunday

Solid evening’s work. A tad disappointing to only get 3 but can’t complain really. A big thank you to @SteV for helping me out with a ticket. On a run of 7 games unbeaten away from home when I attend, winning 6, so any away tickets going I’ll take.

i guess what matters most in this run in is the result, especially the W's. Perfomance was a bit honking in terms of giving the ball away all match and the lack of urgency to better the GD in the second half but no injuries and 3 points is good enough. On another day, we might be bemoan a perfomance with a bad result but tonight, got the win, move on and do better in the next game.

Anyone else hearing Albrighton on comms? I wanna pull my ears off

Absolutely dreadful. Can't speak a coherent sentence. Nothing intelligent to say. Unfunny attempts at humour. Dreary accent. Can't imagine why anyone thought it was a good idea to hire him as a commentator.

Chances of yous actually resting players for Sunday? Slim still? Hopefully Fernandes...

Unlikely to rest many but also unlikely to put everything into the game. Couldn't think of a better time for you to play us.

It's like a who's the biggest cunt competition - Bellamy or Carragher

Bellamy seemed to be very pro-Newcastle before the game. Saying how he loves watching us, Bruno one of his favourite players in the league and when Carragher took the piss about us ever winning the champions league, Bellamy was the one who said if we were allowed to spend money then we could. Most pro-toon I’ve ever heard him I think.

Is it the away game this week, home leg next week, or vice versa?

Bellamy speaks surprisingly well if a little dull

Not sure like, the way he was over eagerly stringing together coaching terminology felt a bit like a new undergraduate visiting the post grad senior common room (… I know what I mean).

Guy spoke like he was in a job interview.

Begs the question, what is the furthest distance we have scored from?

Edit: Only one I can think of is Laurent Robert against Spurs.

Posted this but it might have been missed with the hype around Schar's shot. Any ideas?
