andycap Posted Tuesday at 09:54 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:54 Great result but a piss poor second half, could of really done with more goals as it will be tight in the top five Goal difference could be a massive factor.
ikri Posted Tuesday at 09:58 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:58 Thought it was remarkable how knackered the Leicester players looked when the 3rd goal went in when seeing the replays. They were lazy, uninterested and unfit. It's no wonder they're going down.

Chicken Dancer Posted Tuesday at 10:19 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:19 I just thought we were conserving energy second half more than anything else. Some of my mates were whinging in the group chat too - I suppose people would feel better if our goals were spaced out over the entire 90? The job was done at HT, there was no need to be busting guts or trying too hard. Obviously we didn't play as well as we can second half, but we didn't need to at all. If we really wanted, we could have scored 4 or 5. Mind I was bored rigid second half But it's not often you start a second half with such a cushion against such a shite team. Groundhog63 Posted Tuesday at 10:22 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:22 Reading the match thread, much like every match thread, and other threads like the Harvey Barnes one makes me laugh like. Some of you lot would go home from work to your Super model wife, standing in her provocative lingerie having just prepared your steak dinner and you'd still kick off because a spoon was in the fork tray. I think most are saying it's a good result but a poor performance, I don't see how that can be argued against really.

Aye, not a great watch but we've become good at managing our levels (or for balance, getting a result when looking leggy) this season. Man U, Tottenham, Southampton, last night - all away games where we've by design or otherwise did next to fuck all in the second half of games but not really had any panic. While it's not as simple as switching it on and off we have enough quality and experience now that we can go up and down the gears as we need to. I wouldn't even class it as a poor performance to be honest , the game was won after 10 minutes so we just strolled about in first gear preserving our energy for the run in. With such a small squad and some huge games to come it was a very clever performance if anything . Edited Tuesday at 10:47 by Geogaddi
Bimpy474 Posted Tuesday at 10:49 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:49 I was annoyed with it yesterday, as goal difference is going to be a factor, especially in regard to Chelsea and Man City. It was an opportunity to close that gap, we're 4 goals off both. That's not moaning, it's a fact, and I would say last night's game was the last one where I could see us really biffing a team. The rest of our fixtures won't afford us that imo.
black_n_white Posted Tuesday at 11:11 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:11 I’ve got no issues with the performance last night. Conserve the energy for the 3 games in 6 days, they’ll need it.
