Does that not just mean no photos or videoing (which i applaud for the record) rather than ability to have your phone on you to check scores?

No phones at all, they get put in a small pouch which is sealed and can’t be opened unless you’re outside the main room. So I could nip out and check every now and then

This will be harder then the Man Utd game.

If not only because the players only have 2/3 full days to recover. Same goes for Villa after as well.

If we can get 4 points from the next two I feel like that's a minor miracle. 6 points would be insane.

They've been on a good run away from home, but it feels like that could be coming to an end with a draw at Southampton and a hiding at City.

On the one hand, they're exactly the type of side we've struggled against at home. Defensively solid and dangerous on the break. On the other, they're very beatable and will no doubt have the cup SF in the back of their mind.

No reason we should be settling for a point here, with a tough trip to Villa Park coming up.

Through Jan/Feb early March they hit good form but they've stumbled of late.

Collapsed at City letting up loads of huge chances (could've been 8 genuinely).

Draw at Saints in a very dull game

Beat Brighton at home but outplayed and a really low xG if you're into that stuff

Lads the worst city side since Hughes gave them a two goal start and 45 minutes and smashed them.

Palace are the average premier league team, lets put them to the sword like we just did to another average premier league time.

Think only 100 or so of the South London Nawty Boyz are coming up despite being the best fans in the league with all their songs with no words. No coincidence Arsenal (their big team) are on TV which is taking precedent.

With how good they've been lately, a draw here isn't a bad result.

We've got some hard fixtures to close out the season. We need to keep winning games against the mid-lower placed sides, that way we won't be under pressure to win against the Arsenals or Chelseas.

Got Willock back and Gordon better for having a run out yesterday, as options available for this aswell so hopefully if anyone is tired we have good energy to bring on.

Will likely be a tougher game than this weekend but feels like the lads of got the bit between their teeth and are fully focused on doing what needs to be done.

Would be nice going into that Villa game with the pressure off and with a buffer between us.

Since March they've won at home against Villa 4-1 Ipswich Town 1-0 Brighton 2-1, won away at Fulham 3-0, drawn with Southampton 1-1 and lost to City 5-2

They're hardly in some rich vein of form, it probably will be a harder game than Man Utd but I'm still expecting a win at home to these.

Aye, before Saturday, they had won 6 in a row away from home.

Nah, they drew with Southampton the away game before that.

So for their excellent away run, the last two aways have been fairly shite.

*and if I was being really picky, I’d say the only decent team they beat in that run was Fulham (twice).

Mateta will be a completely different challenge for our centre backs than what we've faced in recent weeks

If he plays. I assume he will, but the manager sounded fairly pissed with him when he hooked him at ht on Saturday.
