However it’s also true if you press them really high up, and Burn has to give it to Trippier or Tino in the corners then 10 seconds later Tonali or Bruno can be on the turn with the ball at their feet and that press has left bags of space in behind for Murphy, Barnes and Isak to play with. Villa beat PSG who’s arguably the best team in Europe at the minute and I can imagine exiting the Champions League in such a way isn’t going to affect morale. Their squad is so well balanced now too. Hard to know how they'll react to going out of the CL but I think Emery will rotate a bit and it'll be a tough game regardless.
