There is no longer a reason to bring Wilson on ahead of Osula.

Not sure what Osula has really got....but he can at least run.

And run fast, and is strong and chaotic and would stretch a defence!

Ah well. New manager bounce next week.

Let's pray it's good news and he'll be back soon.

It the histrionics and diving about that really rile me up.

And then when he starts getting wound up for no reason, you just know his performance is going to suffer.

He was absolutely infuriating to watch today.

One reason, he's not a captain.

He's absolutely a leader, but in a different way, fun motivation, cheerleader, not as disciplined as others.

Debatable, and obviously the managers choice, but I preferred Trippier,  that said, Bruno is the first captain to bring a trophy, although it wasn't simply down to Bruno captaining the side.

meh.

was gonna happen.

still in pole position.

beat ipswich and the mood will change.

hope there's not as much panic in the dressing room than there is on this board tonight.

only Pope comes out of that game with any credit.

Pope tino tonali and Barnes the only ones that turned up today. You can't carry 7 players against good opposition and expect to win games.

That's why subs should have happened after ten minutes of the second half.

Krafth can cover RB and RCB, Miley, Willock and Longstaff can cover CM, Gordon and Osula can cover the wings?

Like @The Butcher says, whoever is tired give them a rest? We obviously couldn't cover the ground needed as Villa were finding holes all over the pitch.

Why are we playing players who can 'cover' for players in our biggest game of the run in?

You honestly think the result would have been different had we played Longstaff today?

How come you didn't say this before the match?

Performances like today are going to happen in a long run of fixtures because we haven't done anything in the last 3 transfer windows. Villa have kept strengthening and have the options to change things up. You have to keep strengthening the squad. They can't afford to drop the ball this summer.

Absolutely. But we've had a pretty good recent track record so I am not too worried.

Thank Christ there's rational thought out there 👏👏👏👏

Canny angry after that like, not going to lie.

..more disappointed - as we just didn't turn up.  Also feel like the result would have been different if Eddie was on the touchline.

It's a question of quantity as well as quality this summer. Gonna have to be very clever in the window and be aggressive targeting free transfers and cheap young players in addition to 2 or 3 quality first team additions.

Nobody should be panicking ffs. Bad day on the pitch. Back the lads and team to respond next match. Chill guys. We’re in 3rd fucking place.

Most annoying thing for me is the central midfield for Villa cost them nothing in transfer fees.

Can't believe we didn't try and get Kamara.

His wages are astronomical apparently.

If it makes you feel better ~40% of the transfer fee saving will have gone to signing bonuses and wages. Certainly not free.

Shit happens, thank god next game is home to Ipswich.

We were tired after 3 games in 6 days and have not been used to be under pressure for some time now. Not going to read anymore into it than that.

Still in a great position to make it, lets hope Chelsea and Forest turns our smiles around tomorrow and on monday. Think they will be the ones to "beat".
