3-0 and hopefully it calms people down after some of the reactions I have seen today after a free hit loss we had against Villa .

I'm sure the coaching team and players didn't see it as a "free hit loss" tbh. If they did, it's no wonder we got hammered.

It was more a 6-pointer.

Hate the phrase but this is the first 'must win' of the season

Have to agree with this, this is the 1st of 2 must wins that are coming in the next few weeks. This one and Chelsea are the must wins for me, win them both and it leaves us in a great positions still. Lose either and we'll have a hard task getting Champions League football

These type of fixtures worry me and bring back Derby County memories

We don’t deserve Champions League if we can’t turn these over at SJP. We think our injuries are bad - here’s their current crocked or suspended list:

ITFC: Sammy Szmodics, Kalvin Phillips, Arijanet Muric, Omari Giraud-Hutchinson, Jaden Philogene, Chiedozie Ogbene and Wesley Burns are all unavailable. Conor Townsend and Nathan Broadhead are both doubtful.

Town are set to be without Leif Davis after the Toon-supporting defender was red-carded during Sunday's 0-4 home reverse at the hands of Arsenal.

Delap’s supposedly carrying a rib injury too! As said if we don’t comprehensively batter these at home we don’t deserve UCL! (But I’d take a scrappy 1-0).

Hutchinson and Ogbene being out for them is a pure blessing for us. Typical type of small, fast, nippy players that always cause massive problems for us unless they are isolated 1v1 against Livramento.

This will be like a typical end of season game. We start hard and fast, go one up in first half, I’d expect it to be job done by HT. We start a bit off it, fans become a bit restless and we could shoot ourselves in foot.

Howe being back there in changing room to keep players minds on the job will be a needed boost after Villa game.

Officially relegating these almost a year to the day we officially relegated Sheff Utd.

:milner:

Can we try it this year without the conceding in the first few minutes and the could/should have been 0-3 down before we equalised please

Indeed, although I’d still take if it ends 5-1.
