I couldn't get me head around it when I was on there briefly. Absolutely bizarre level of hatred. Got to be an echo chamber thing.

Very much don draper 'i don't think about you at all' for me

Aye they hate us over on GOT.

They have the same deal with LFC as Sunderland do with us, and they're extremely bitter. Scouse mackems couldn't be more succinct based on some of the stuff I've read on there over the years.

Nevermind, hope they enjoyed their day semi-pissing on our chips.

Definitely. God knows the levels of bitterness now because when I first went on GOT Bruce and Ashley were still here, and they were feral over us even then.

Knew they’d play like they had something riding on the game, but we played completely into their hands with the 5 at back.

Today’s performance this season isn’t in isolation, for today read Bournemouth and Fulham also where we just haven’t had enough about us at home.

Always nice to end the season with a win so slightly disappointed, but all that mattered was top 5 and we now have a massive chance to kick on now.

It's an inferiority complex. The abuse of Pickford probably hasn't helped, signing of Gordon, Cabaye bundling over their ballboy, Shola miles offside in '05

My dad's an Everton fan and as a youngster I went to a lot of games against us in their end. His friends knew I was a Newcastle fan and were cordial and sound as fuck. Aside from this forum (:aww:) online fans are the worst.

So many examples of disappointing results against bottom half sides this season and last season. We struggled to create clear cut chances against an organised defence in a low block. Hopefully we will sign a creative CM and a top RW this summer, we really need more technical ability and flair in the squad

I know. He'll get sacked for pulling it off though. 😅

I used to get a row for that too when I was a teenager. In all fairness, I was on the bus with my mum and looking at pictures of corpses at the time*.

Christ that was bad. Thankfully didn’t cost us.

That formation in the first half didn’t work at all. Our attacking play was just so predictable and shit. Was like the second half of them Brighton and West Ham games where it felt like we weren’t even going to create a chance let alone score.

As said though, didn’t cost us, so not really arsed. Fresh players and fresh ideas next season.

Pre match music selection by the DJ is getting worse by the game

Uptown Girl and the worst remix of Sweet Caroline I've ever heard today

If you are going to play a Billy Joel song at least play "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant".

He’s a fucking embarrassment and wants fucking binned, does more to kill the atmosphere than anything to enhance it.

What a shit show of a performance this was, i think we need to reserve to 5-2-3 formation for when we are needing to defend and hit teams on the break, without our 3 midfield line up we lose so much of what makes us good.

Songs like 'Hey Jude', 'Rockin All Over The World' and 'Sweet Caroline' are such predictable party tunes, played at every dull bash all over the country. Next up will be Girls just Wanna Have Fun, Livin On A Prayer, Summer Of '69, YMCA, Man I Feel Lile A Woman, Wonderwall, Dancing Queen, Hi Ho Silver Lining and Come On Eileen. Awful stuff.

DJ Onedek was plumbing new depths of shite today like

Cheesy cunt needs firing into the sun

We’re capable of creating an atmosphere without having that cunt playing his Best of Mobile DJ Party Anthemz CD at every opportunity

I personally thought the Lindisfarne songs were great. Each to their own.

Chelsea all the way for me, I loathe them. Even more than the idiots 12 miles down the road.

Weird one. Everton is a great old club, Chelsea not so much. As a fanbase, I've had more 'difficult' (spitty) encounters with Everton than any other, while Chelsea have been no bother.

Chelsea were awful in the 80s, the Ken Bates years, Nazi fans, the Farmer's Rest incident in 86/87. Utter vile cunts. Then the Abramovich years on top of the latest stuff. Loathed them for decades. Everton seems to be more of an online thing, not had bother with them and went to Goodison loads of time in the 80s/90s.

We've generally been very good against the bottom half sides this year

Very obvious still we're reliant on a fully fit first 11, the drop off is too severe, big Joe has been an insane miss the last 2 games and we've looked toothless with Isak way off it.

Something difficult about trying to enjoy failing our way to victory today, but I'm sure when the dust settles all I'll be bothered about is the Carabau Cup win and CL footy next season!
