Players shouldn’t be walking out with their kids and holding babies 2 minutes before kick off when you need to win. Leave it until after the game.

After this game I started to think an attacking full back or wing back is probably our top priority this summer, with RW up next.

Remember we have Hall for left back, he's been missing for ages so people are forgetting about him.

I remember, and that’s exactly why we need one more. We now practically need two attacking full backs on the pitch and we can’t just have two to serve the purpose (I already count Tino as an attacking one which he actually is just average).

 

Hall is a very big miss yesterday, and his absence obviously affect Gordon a lot.

There were far too many young, mouthy, scally, Everton fans after the match asking for trouble. Also saw a father laughing at his 2 young daughters mouthing off.

 

There were some canny Scousers in The Newcastle Arms beforehand but they really do have some complete arseholes.

Aside from just wanting to win every game regardless, I really wished we’d won this game just because no one is ever going to let go of the decision in the Villa match.

Villa didn't miss out on CL due to that one game it was over the course of the season - every club has had a contentious decision they can point to.

I entirely agree with this. No doubt there are situations that we can point to where we were done by. In fact the Liverpool game at home was a similar situation where the referee blew the whistle too soon.

My point is others are not going to let it go.

Exactly, they got 2 points against Ipswich this season. That included drawing at home to them when Ipswich had ten men.

Yes, despite often brilliant performances and dominating games, yesterday was a performance that we seem to have in us from time to time.
