Trying to think of other times clubs have had brilliant seasons followed by a spectacularly bad transfer window despite having plenty of funds available. Infinitely Content Posted July 26, 2025 Share Posted July 26, 2025 If to be believed, £30+5m is a fair offer like, but if we're not willing to pay £10-15m over the odds, we no longer have the luxury of time to be dealing with Premier League clubs who aren't willing sellers. And I don't blame them for not wanting to sell either tbf, they've every right to ask for £50m and stick to it. We currently have no striker to start with against Villa, so we can't wait for Brentford to blink late in the window, we need to go and put the money on the table for someone like Sesko if he's open to the move.
