It’s just ludicrous that we seemingly have no targets outside of the Premier league. Just offer DCL a contract at this rate. Who fucking cares?

Very unfair, we definitely wanted Trafford when he was in the Championship

We're a fucking embarrassment man, proper chance to build on what we've done so far and we've gone backwards. Lose Isak and not improve the squad we could genuinely be looking at a mid table finish next season.

That's not an overreaction either, we easily could finish there.

Is there precedent for this? Trying to think of other times clubs have had brilliant seasons followed by a spectacularly bad transfer window despite having plenty of funds available.

I can think of plenty where teams have been ransacked and profited on players after doing well, but nothing like this.

But like the Harry kane saga that.

He had an agreement with levy didn't he.

We have no such agreement with Isak yet people think we have no option but to sell.

Wissa in particular actually needs the money. I doubt he’ll be set for life at this point In his career.

I can’t think so. Our position and circumstances are pretty unique though.

If to be believed, £30+5m is a fair offer like, but if we're not willing to pay £10-15m over the odds, we no longer have the luxury of time to be dealing with Premier League clubs who aren't willing sellers. And I don't blame them for not wanting to sell either tbf, they've every right to ask for £50m and stick to it.

We currently have no striker to start with against Villa, so we can't wait for Brentford to blink late in the window, we need to go and put the money on the table for someone like Sesko if he's open to the move. We would likely be more willing to overpay slightly on him due to his age.

To be fair, that's their hope. They can't afford to lose him on top of everyone else.

I don't blame them, but we have to be more flexible about going abroad for a striker. They aren't cheap over there either, but at least they aren't batshit crazy prices.

Sad thing is he would probably end up starting 20 games for us

It really is incredible that within the space of a week we went from wow we're signing Ekitike to partner Isak, to Ekitike going to Liverpool, Isak refusing to train so he can go to Liverpool, and being told to pony up £50m for Yoane Wissa or fuck off
